Vesuvius: is a Somma-stratovolcano. It is a glimpse of unusual beauty in the panorama of the Gulf, entered in the collective imagination of Naples. It holds the
Portici Royal Palace: built by King Charles of Bourbon as a royal palace and it is located inside a large park with a landscaped garden and an amphitheatre. The palace has a wide and majestic terraced façade and provided with balustrades, rectangular in plan, the access was on street of Calabrie. The courtyard of the building on the left side shows the barracks of the Royal Guard and the Palatine Chapel, while a majestic staircase leads to the apartment of Caroline Bonaparte. Both richly decorated parlor Louis XIV and the boudoir of Queen Maria Amalia of Saxony.
