Point of interest:

Cusano Mutri: located on the southern slope of the Matese, embedded in the ancient Sannio Pentro, today on the border between Campania and Molise. It is 20 km from the ancient Roman town of Telesia on the southwest side of Campania, and 30 km from the other Roman town of Altilia (Saepinum), in Molise, on the northeast side.
According to historians Cusano Mutri is the Sannita Cossa, in which Cosano, destroyed by the Romans together with Telesia. The name, which would mean a cup, would also indicate the topographical configuration from which the primitive ideographic symbol "Q" would represent, which represented the mountain circle with the mouth of Lavello, the only outlet. Certain news emerged only in 490 AD, when Pope Felice III sent a priest to officiate in the castrum chapel. At the beginning of the eighth century some Benedictine Benedictines were erected in the church of Santa Maria del Castagneto while in the countryside more than a dozen inhabited villages, marked by cult buildings, arose. The area, safe because it was easily defensible, was a shelter for the neighboring populations that were embarrassed by the Saracen incursions.

Telese Terme: It'is located in the center of the valley Telesina, to the right of the river Calore Irpino. It is part of the Agrarian Region No.4 - Lower Hippodrome Hills. Located about 30 km from Benevento, it is at the foot of Mount Pugliano, whose springs springs from sources of sulphurous water that feed the thermal establishments. To the east end of the municipality there is Lake Telese.
The origins of Telese are to be found in the Roman city of Telesia, an important center that in 215 BC. The foederata urbs (the allied city of Rome) was recognized. The vast Telesia ruins can still be seen today a few kilometers from Telese Terme, in the municipality of San Salvatore Telesino. Around the tenth century there was a news of the construction of a cathedral that was outside the walls of Telesia, in the present area of Telese Terme (via Roma). So it was a village outside the walls of Telesia that consolidated around the Cathedral, seat of the bishop and of the ancient diocese telesina, dating back to the fifth century.

Faicchio Castle: Faicchio Castle or ducal castle is a Norman-style architecture set in the historic center of Faicchio, in the province of Benevento. The castle was built in the twelfth century by Sanframondo counts in a strategic position between the Acero and Gioia mountains and in an elevated position over the course of the Titerno river. From 1479 to 1520 it was the property of the Mons. Between the 15th and the 16th centuries, the Monsory undertook the building to an important renovation that gave it the actual appearance. The Monsory restored the building, starting from Castel Nuovo in Naples, as evidenced by the planimetry, the main prospect and the setting of the inner courtyard.

Sant'Agata de Goti: the landscaping integrity of the old town and the surrounding rural villages have given Sant'Agata de 'Goti the nickname "Pearl of the Sannio". The commune is the orange banner of the Touring Club Italiano and the historic center from November 2012 is part of the circuit of "The most beautiful villages of Italy".
Historians agree on the hypothesis that in the present territory of Sant'Agata de 'Goti the ancient city of Saticula was once erected. The Sannitic necropolis, rich in important finds, has come to light in the northeastern area of the Holy Land, in the area between the Isclero River and the town of Frasso Telesino. The village of Saticula was quoted by Virgil in the text of the Eneide.
